1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FirmCases ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FirmCases provides law practice management software including but not limited to:

  • Case management tools
  • Client relationship management
  • Document storage and generation
  • Time tracking and billing
  • AI-powered legal research (where applicable)
  • Trust accounting features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation
  • Transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

The Service is offered through various subscription plans. Details of available plans and pricing are available on our pricing page.

5.2 Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless otherwise stated. You agree to pay all charges incurred in connection with your account.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team for refund requests.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FirmCases and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FirmCases shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zambia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
